52nd GST Council Meeting: Conditional exemption to Foreign going vessels if converted for coastal run in India

The GST Council’s 52nd meeting was held in Delhi on October 07, 2023, under the chairpersonship of the Union Finance & Corporate Affairs Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman.

The GST Council has inter-alia made the following recommendations:

  • To provide conditional exemption to the foreign flag foreign going vessels when it converts to coastal run subject to its reconversion to foreign going vessel in six months.
