The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) on August 08, 2025 has expanded e-payment options on the GST Portal, allowing taxpayers to pay GST dues via UPI and debit/credit cards. The facility is currently live in 23 States/UTs with a pan-India rollout to follow.

- Modes: All UPI apps; Debit/Credit cards on RuPay, Mastercard, Visa, Diners.
- Banks: Axis Bank, Canara Bank, HDFC Bank, IDFC First Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bandhan Bank*, ICICI Bank*, Dhanlaxmi Bank^, Karnataka Bank^, Karur Vysya Bank^.

Manipur update: Card payments available via Bandhan Bank and IDFC FIRST Bank; UPI enabled via IDFC FIRST Bank.
How to pay
- Log in to the GST Portal → Payments.
- Choose UPI or Debit/Credit Card and select a listed bank/PSP.
- Complete payment; challan is generated instantly.
