Background:
The DGFT vide Notification No. 31/2015-20 dated September 14, 2020 amended Serial Number 52 of Chapter 7 of Schedule 2 of ITC (HS) Export Policy, 2018 to restrict the export of Bangalore Rose onions and Krishnapuram onions. Relevant portion is reproduced below:

Notification:
The DGFT vide Notification No. 39/2015-2020 dated October 9, 2020 amended Notification No. 31/2015-20 dated September 14, 2020 to allow export of Bangalore Rose onions and Krishnapuram onions up to the quantity of 10,000 MT each for the period up to March 31, 2021 (subject to conditions stated in the Notification) with immediate effect.
