CBIC amended Notification No. 57/2000-Cus dated 08.05.2000 so as to align it with the change in customs duty on import of gold and silver

The CBIC vide Notification No. 17/2021-Customs, dated February 17, 2021 amended the Notification No. 57/2000-Customs, dated May 8, 2000 that exempts gold, silver and platinum imported under specified schemes so as to align it with Notification No. 50/2017-Custom dated June 20, 2017 (as amended vide Notification No. 2/2021-Customs dated February 1, 2021 w.e.f. February 2, 2021) in a following manner:
