The 50th Meeting of the GST Council was held on July 11, 2023 in New Delhi, under the chairpersonship of the Union Finance & Corporate Affairs Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman.
The formation of a State-level coordination committee consisting of GST officers from both the State and Central GST administrations has been recommended by the GST Council. This committee aims to facilitate knowledge sharing on GST matters and promote coordinated efforts in implementing administrative and preventive measures.
