The 50th Meeting of the GST Council was held on July 11, 2023 in New Delhi, under the chairpersonship of the Union Finance & Corporate Affairs Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman.
Considering the existing law and order situation in the State of Manipur, the GST Council has recommended extending the due dates for filing FORM GSTR-1, FORM GSTR-3B, and FORM GSTR-7 for the months of April, May, and June 2023. The extension applies specifically to registered individuals from the State of Manipur and the new due date for filing is set as 31.07.2023.
