The Government of Bihar vide Notification No. S.O. 67 dated March 15, 2024, has notified the enactment of the Bihar Settlement of Taxation Disputes Act, 2024. In accordance with the authority granted by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the said Act (Bihar Act 04, 2024), the Commissioner of State Tax has officially designated March 15, 2024, as the effective date for the Bihar Settlement of Taxation Disputes Act, 2024, marking the commencement of its provisions.
