The CBDT vide Notification No. 95/2023 dated November 01, 2023, notified an exemption to BPC Penco XVII Corporation for pension funds under section 10(23FE) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (“the IT Act”). The notified funds are eligible to claim an exemption for eligible investments made in India on or before March 31, 2024, subject to specified conditions.
