Pursuant to the recommendation made during 42nd GST Council Meeting, the CBIC vide Notification No. 05/2020-Central Tax (Rate) dated October 16, 2020 amended Notification No. 12/2017- Central Tax (Rate) dated June 28, 2017 (“Services Exemption Notification”) to exempt Satellite-launch services by Indian Space Research Organisation, Antrix Corporation Ltd. and New Space India Ltd.
