The CBIC has issued Order No. 01/2023 dated February 09, 2023 in supersession of its earlier Order No. 04/2021 dated December 07, 2021, in order to re-assign the pending appeal cases to the Central Excise Officers, which were filed on or before June 30, 2017 under Section 35 of the Central Excise Act, 1944, or Section 85 of the Finance Act, 1994 in Thiruvananthapuram zone, for the purpose of passing Orders-in-Appeal in such matters.
