CESTAT has issued an Office Memorandum dated August 18, 2020, where the Hon’ble President directs that E hearing of appeals through video conferencing platform will take place with Members sitting in the courtrooms. Technical infrastructure requisite for conducting the E hearing may be made available in the court halls.
The Tribunal will also provide the facility in a room at every Bench for the council to participate in the hearing. The counsel who wishes to avail such facility may contact the respective Assistant Registrar through email at least two days in advance.
