The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi has issued guideline vide Circular No. F.3(288)/POLICY/VAT/2017Pt.File/732-737 dated August 11, 2021 for time bound disposal of objections filed under the Delhi Value Added Tax Act (“the DVAT”).
In order to ensure time bound disposal of the objections under the DVAT Act, Additional Commissioner (Policy), Arun Kumar Tiwari has requested Objection Hearing Authorities (“OHAs”) to
- Fix timings of hearing and issue cause lists,
- Decide and widely publicize the objection hearing timings by August 12, 2021. Forward a copy to Commissioner, DVAT for information.
- Copies of the Orders passed by the OHAs may be marked to Commissioner, DVAT
- Fortnightly report may be submitted to Ms. Sonalika Jiwani, Joint Commissioner (T&T) on or before the 3rd and 18th of every month, who would submit a compiled report to the Commissioner, DVAT on the next date.
