Govt. further extends the due date for filing GSTR-7 for April, May & June 2023 in Manipur till July 31, 2023

Background:

Considering the existing law and order situation in the State of Manipur the GST Council in it’s 50th meeting dated July 11, 2023 recommended to extend the due dates for filing Form GSTR-1, Form GSTR-3B, and Form GSTR-7 for the months of April, May, and June 2023.

Notification:

Now, the CBIC vide Notification No. 21/2023- Central Tax dated July 17, 2023 has issued amendments in the Notification No. 26/2019- Central Tax dated June 28, 2019 in order to extend the due date of filing of GSTR-7 for the tax period April 2023, May 2023 and June 2023 till July 31, 2023.
