Himachal Pradesh Govt Notified the ‘Sadhbhawana Legacy Cases Resolution Scheme 2023’

The Himachal Pradesh Government, State Taxes and Excise Department vide Notification No. EXN-F-(10)-17/2022 dated September 30, 2023 has notified the Himachal Pradesh Sadhbhawana Legacy Cases Resolution Scheme, 2023 (3rd Phase), effective from October 1 to December 31, 2023.

This scheme applies to the settlement of pending additional tax demands related to specific financial years or return periods, as well as unresolved assessments and any tax, penalty, or interest liabilities arising from assessments under previous tax laws.

The scheme outlines specific conditions under which individuals may not be eligible to participate in it.

To make a declaration under this scheme, individuals must submit the declaration along with proof of payment of the settlement fee.

Furthermore, any discharge certificate issued under this scheme will be considered final and binding regarding the specified resolution process and timeframe mentioned in the declaration.
