The CBIC has issued Instruction No. 03/2023-Customs dated January 27, 2023 regarding the Cancellation of swapping order w.r.t. 8th & 9th Reallocation of Export Quota for export during Sugar Season 2022-23 and holding of export quota.
Please refer to Instruction No. 33/2022 dated December 12, 2022 on the above subject.
Vide F. No. 1-1/(2022)-Trade letter dated January 23, 2023 (copy enclosed), Department of Food & Public Distribution (DFPD), Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution has informed about cancellation of the following sugar mills till further orders in reference to its 8th & 9th Reallocation of Export Quota for export during Sugar Season 2022-23 and holding of export quota as under:-

Accordingly, DFPD has advised to put on hold the export quotas of above mentioned sugar mills and to not allow the export of sugar from the above-mentioned 3 sugar till further orders.
It is requested that necessary action may be taken to sensitize officers under your jurisdiction for compliance of the above order of DFPD.
