The Tamil Nadu Government vide Order G.O. (Ms.) No. 96 dated August 25, 2023, has established a committee to examine the settlement pattern of Integrated Goods and Services Tax (“IGST”) for the State of Tamil Nadu. The committee is headed by Anand Subramaniam, Former Chief Economic Adviser to the Government of India, and comprises five additional tax experts as members.
