As per the recent tweet by Chartered Accountants Association, Surat @caas_org, the Association, has submitted a representation to the Commissioner of Police, Surat in the light of illegal arrests without following due legal processes like issue of summons under Section 160 of Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 and without making prior inquiries to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer, illegal detention of individuals without sufficient cause etc.
