The DGFT vide Notification No. 06/2023 dated May 22, 2023 has issued an amendment in Chapter 30 of Schedule 2 of the ITC (HS) Export Policy related to the export of Cough Syrup w.e.f. June 01, 2023.
In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, the Central Government hereby makes following amendment in Chapter 30 of the Schedule 2 of the ITC (HS) Export Policy related to the export of Cough Syrup w.e.f. June 01, 2023:

Effect of this Notification: The export of “Cough Syrup” under ITC (HS) Codes falling under the Heading 3004 shall be permitted subject to the export sample being tested and the production of a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) issued by any of the laboratories as mentioned in Para-1 above, with effect from June 01, 2023.
