One arrested for ₹8.7 crore GST evasion

The State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) department on Thursday arrested Devang Nathwani from Rajkot for alleged tax evasion of Rs 8.7 crore. Nathwani is the key person handling the affairs of Eagle Marketing, which is involved in trading of crude chemicals, which attracts 18% GST.
