The DGFT makes amendments to Chapter 4 of Handbook of Procedures 2015-20 relating to Advance Authorisations.
It permits Advance Authorisation for Annual Requirement where SIONs or valid Ad hoc norms exist on date of issue thereof, but no such Authorisation shall be issued where input is listed in Appendix 4J i.e. inputs with pre-import condition.
It also allows issuance of Advance Authorisation absent SION / valid Ad hoc Norms for an export product or where SION / Ad hoc Norms have been notified but exporter intends to use additional inputs in manufacturing process, based on self-declaration by applicant in terms of Para 4.07.
DGFT Further enables submission of manual BRCs and self-attested copy of Exporter Copy of Shipping Bill for purpose of redemption of Advance Authorisation (EODC).
Deemed export supplies may also be accepted towards discharge of Export Obligation, and in this regard, Shipping Bills / Tax Invoices shall be endorsed with file number of Advance Authorisation to establish co-relation of exports / deemed export supplies with Authorisation issued.
