As per the recent tweet of PIB in Maharashtra, the GST Council further reduced the rate on electric furnaces, temperature checking equipment and ambulances.
For 3 items, GST Council has made some changes to recommendations given by GoM
- Electric furnaces: recommended by GoM – 12%; revised by GST Council – 5%
- Temperature checking equipment: GoM – 18%; GST Council – 5%
- Ambulances: GoM – 28%; GST Council – 12%
