As per the recent tweet of the CNBC-TV18, Sources say in the upcoming meeting of the GST Council is unlikely to correct inverted duty correction w.r.t. Textiles. Also, Council may take up GoM’s report on online gaming, casinos & race courses:
- GOM is of the view to levy 28% GST on gross gaming value
- GST Council may extend the timeline for GoM on rate rationalisation by 6 months
- GST Council may begin the discussion on covering VDAs & crypto assets under the GST ambit
