Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) team has arrested computer operator Dinesh Kumar of Central Income Tax and Service Division Range-22 (City Area) GST Area red handed while taking bribe of Rs 15,000 in District Karnal.
The government spokesperson said on Friday the ACB team had received a complaint that computer operator Dinesh Kumar was demanding bribe in return for stopping the suspension of GST number.
Based on the information received, the ACB team made a plan to nab the accused and arrested red handed on Thursday while taking a bribe of Rs15,000. The case is being investigated by the ACB team by collecting necessary evidence.
A case has been registered against the accused in the ACB Karnal police station.
