Rajasthan: Unemployed youth gets a Notice from GST Department to pay a tax of Rs 1 crore 39 lakh

A poor unemployed youth living in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan has received a notice to pay GST of more than one crore rupees. Seeing the notice, the youth lost his senses. It has been said in the notice that GST is due in the name of the youth, if it is not filled soon, action will be taken. This notice has been sent from Central Commissionerate Delhi North.

Actually, the businessman doing business in Delhi by using the PAN card of the young man wrongly made a turnover of crores. After this, the Central GST Department gave a GST notice of one crore 39 lakh 79 thousand 407 rupees to this poor youth of Jaisalmer.

A notice has been sent to Narpatram s/o Navlaram Meghwal, resident of Ridwa, Jaisalmer, from Commissionerate Delhi North. Regarding this matter, the youth met the Superintendent of Police and informed about the incident. After this, the SP has instructed the Sadar police station to investigate the matter and register the case.

The youth Narpatram told that he is an unemployed person. Presently dependent on father. The father earns his livelihood by doing agricultural work. He has received a notice three days back from the Central GST department. In this, 1 crore 39 lakh 79 thousand 407 rupees tax was said to be outstanding. He has also been summoned in Delhi on 9 January 2023.

Fraud done with PAN card and other documents

Narpatram told that he does not even have a firm, he did not do any business, someone misused his PAN card to form a firm and do business in it. Because of this he has received this notice.

After probing the matter, it was found that a firm was formed by misusing his Aadhaar card, PAN card and other documents. The said person is from Delhi, who did this forgery.

SP said – Case is being registered in the matter

According to the notice, a firm is operating on Narpatram’s PAN card. A company is registered on PAN card and Aadhaar card. Narpatram said that he has no information about this. Narpatram is preparing for teacher recruitment exam, he is studying in Suratgarh.

Superintendent of Police Bhanwar Singh Nathawat told that the victim youth was found, information has been received regarding the fraud with him. Sadar police station has been instructed to take action in this regard. Have asked to investigate against the culprits. A case is also being registered in this regard.
