The Central Board of Indirect taxes & Customs (“CBIC”) has issued Notification No. 03/2019 – Integrated Tax dated January 29, 2019 which has increased the threshold limit for taking GST registration in the states of State of Jammu and Kashmir, States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Uttarakhand on Inter-State supply of services from Rs. 10 Lakhs to Rs. 20 Lakhs. The said amendment will be applicable from February 1, 2019.
