The GST system provides a provision of E-Way Bill, a document to be carried by the person in charge of conveyance, generated electronically from the common portal i.e. www.ewaybillgst.gov.in. As approved by the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council, a web based solution has been designed and developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC) and it is being rolled out for the use of taxpayers and transporters with effect from April 1, 2018.
For the ease of understanding of Taxpayer and transporters NIC had issued a “User Manual” for hand holding for generation E way bill, Bulk Generation, Cancellation, Print, Rejection of E way bill etc.
