The Directorate General of Goods and Services Tax Intelligence (DGGSTI) have arrested a Juhu businessman in an alleged Input Tax Credit (ITC) fraud of Rs 55.8 crore.
The Mumbai unit of DGGSTI arrested Prashant Agarwal (47), the MD of Bombay Rayon Fashion Limited (BRFL), a fabric and garment company.
Agarwal has been booked under various sections for violation of the CGST Act and has been remanded to judicial custody
