CBI on Thursday arrested a Delhi government official in a case of alleged corruption bribery. The suspect, Gopal Krishna Madhav, is learnt to be a DANICS (subordinate services) cadre official who was reportedly attached with deputy CM Manish Sisodia’s office, sources said.
While officials remained tight-lipped on the details, sources said that Madhav was allegedly caught red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 2 lakh. He was being probed in a case of GST evasion, the source said.
