As per the recent tweet of CNBCTV18, the Sources Say NAA charges Samsung India for not passing on the benefits of lower rates to consumers on TV. GST Council had reduced rates on LED/LCD TV sets to 18% from 28%. Samsung asked to submit Rs 37 lakh to the consumer welfare fund on account of profiteering.
