As per the recent tweet of CNBC-TV18, the Sources say States presenting their views on the borrowing options suggested by the Centre. Chhattisgarh is opposed to borrowing, demands a parliamentary discussion on the compensation issue.
Cess will be collected until the interest & principle amount of borrowings are fully paid.
West Bengal & Rajasthan also opposed states borrowing option. They demanded central borrowings. Few BJP-ruled states shared preference towards Option 1.
